Finished Top!

So yesterday I finished putting together quilt top numero uno! after doing so i realized i had forgotten to pre-wash my muslin so i guess we'll just pray there's not too much shrinkage! The pollyfill bag said you could choose to allow a 3-5% shrinkage of your filling if you want to obtain a vintage quilt feel. Yeah, that's right. That's what I've decided to go for!
I really need to figure out how to rotate my photos as I'm sure you've noticed. :)
My father-in-law built me a sweet quilting rack that I can't wait to put to use while tying this one off. Oh, the adventure!

My New Sewing Set-Up

Here's my new work station for those of you who haven't seen it yet. The desk is a hand-me-down from my neighbor I cat sit for and is perfect in the spare room. We've started calling it "the sewing room" instead of "Nara's room" as I don't think she's ever even napped in there!
Today should be a great day for quilting. My Father-in-Law is coming to hang out with Inara which should nicely free me up to get some serious sewing done! It's been a slow quilting week thanks to someone teething/not sleeping again, but these orders must get done! I'm so excited about how they're turning out. Two totally different quilts from the same pattern... gotta love it!
